"Isn't she pretty Truly the angel's best Boy, I'm so happy We have been heaven blessed I can't believe what God has done Through us he's given life to one But isn't she lovely Made from love" -Stevie Wonder I have been wanting to take these photos of Isabella in my wedding dress forever. Finally! And they turned out so pretty. It was very impromptu, which is the story of my life, especially when it comes to photography. Her hair was slept on. She didn't want to cooperate so I bribed her with candy. There were so many good ones, it was hard to choose just one. Find more pictures here.
I gave one to my mom in a frame for Christmas. I plan to give one to Bella on her wedding day.

Me "They gave me a lot of pickles. " Cameron "Did you want pickles? " Me "Oh yes. I asked for pickles. " Cameron "They have really nice people here (Wendy's)." I've been taking Cameron with me to my stylist whenever I go so she can cut his hair too. It's like a date for us now. Special time together, just the 2 of us. We had lunch at Wendy's afterwards. He was so sweet. And talkative. He even sang me two songs he learned in music. He also told me that Santa Clause tells the parents how much the toys are going to cost and we pay Santa for them. I guess he deduced this because I told him that he isn't getting an Xbox because it costs too much money. I went out Friday night with my coworkers. And I felt like death warmed over Saturday morning.
This weekend, it was in the 70's!! Crazy! But beautiful. Christmas is only 4 days away, and the kids were playing outside in shorts. We even had to break down and turn on the A.C.! I don't have a camera with an "interval timer" (at least not that I'm aware of). But these are good tips. And I like the idea of getting in front of the camera this year. I do have a tripod and a remote control. That will work, too.
Read Melissa Stottman's Christmas photo tips here (from Clickin "I'm building a castle, Mommy. " I'm actually proud of myself for letting her do this. I had all the presents neatly stacked around the tree. This usually sets off my OCD self crazy.
Spent Saturday night playing a family game of Call of Duty with my boys. And when I was putting Bella to bed, I walked past this mirror, and had to do a double take. Look how big she is! When did this happen?

I can never get this kid to sit still (or be serious enough) to take a good portrait of him. He was in a good mood this day because he got to ride his bus home (first time ever) and he wanted to go outside to play football with Chase. So, I might have bribed him. He looked so cute (and so dang grown up!!) that I wanted to try to get a impromptu picture of him. With his long hair (which I'm ready to cut), and this cute little grin. I just love this little fireball. "Baby, if I had to choose My best day ever My finest hour, my wildest dream come true Mine would be you" - Blake Shelton |

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
