This picture just makes me smile.
Cam went to Jackson's bball practice. He did better than he thinks against a bunch of 13, 14 and 15 year olds. He knew he had to give his all. And there's always a little friendly competition among siblings.

We did a thing today. Another year, another Christmas tree. It was a little cold. And we possibly looked at Every.Tree. They oblige me with a picture. But this is the only time I get a traditional photo of these 3 (literally since Bella was a baby). It's far from perfect. But they give me what they give me. And each year, I see a piece of their personalities. And they still love running, hiding and playing tag among the trees. Even though Jackson is too tall to fit in the tree tunnel, he still ran around and chased them both. On the way to get the tree, Josh pointed out that we will only do this 4 more times before Jack will be in college. Gosh....
This was a big birthday. The big 4-0.
His idea was a day date, just the two of us. We drove to Williamsburg Winery. Had brunch. Walked around the winery taking photos of us. And me. Finally, I got to be on the other side of the camera. It was just a sweet and thoughtful idea. Although I felt way out of my comfort zone, I kept thinking how much my kids will appreciate these photos when I'm no longer here. |

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
