A few weeks ago, a few of the Tellefsens went "flounder gigging" on the sound in Hatteras, NC. They caught a lot of flounder and a few "sheepshead". So we decided to have a fish fry at the in-laws with all the cousins. The fish was great. Even the sheepshead, which I was sketchy about at first. Bella and Vaeda had a great time riding her tricycle and swinging in the hammock. The Dads did the ice bucket challenge for ALS (Jackson too).

{226/365}: Family time. Cousins in the hammock. {227-365}: New girly jammies. She rocks it. {228/365}: Every night. My den looks like this. {229/365}: Having fun at football practice. {230/365}: Vacation eve eve. Love to watch him sleep. {231/365}: Hanging out. {232/365}: Peace out VA Beach. Hatteras bound. (Bella is actually really excited to go to the "beach house". Don't know what attitude she is pulling here.)
Bella's birthday party was on a Saturday at our house. We had a good turnout. And I made too much food. And too much dessert. I had fun with the Frozen theme, thanks to pinterest. We had frozen "hearts" (strawberries dipped in chocolate), frozen ice cubes (blue jello cubes), and frozen marshmallow pops. I loved the color scheme of blue & purple. Some of the desserts and decorations.... Sydney spent the night before to help us get ready. She was more excited than Bella, I think.
{219/365}: Cooking out with friends. Jackson has started bringing his football every where we go. {220/365}: The boys never did this. {221/365}: I love his hands in this picture. Chubby, baby hands...still. I love the light on his face and hair. I love this little boy. {222/365}: Her new favorite thing to do. Tea party with Elsa. {223/365}: Jackson had injured his ankle earlier in the day and by practice it was bruised and swollen. So he missed his first scrimmage, which he was pretty upset about. {224/365}: Friday night. TMNT. Much needed alone time with the boys. Shared some fast food at the mall and took pictures of ourselves with cross eyes. Went shoe shopping for school. The boys laughed out loud at the movie. Made my heart happy. {225/365}: With a little help from our friends. And a case of beer.
We tried to recreate this picture at Bella's third birthday party. The original was taken at her first birthday. (From left to right:) Owen was 17 months, Bella was 12 months, and Quinn was 6 months. It was much easier the first time around. This time, not so much. It took a lot of bribing. And a lot of outtakes. To get the picture how we envisioned. And yes, my daughter is picking her nose. I think Owen was a little exasperated with these chicks. We finally got a good one.
Looking back, I cannot believe how different these guys look. So very different than the chubby, hairless babes they used to be. Now they have long legs. And they are all thinned out. But still so freakin sweet. I hope these three grow up as close as their daddies. |

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
