the week Sydney turned 15. And she shared her cupcakes with Bella.
And Jackson threw up at dinner at Olive Garden.

I love that you called me at work today to ask if you could go outside to play because "it looks warm outside". Schools were closed, probably prematurely, because it snowed the night before. I told you you couldn't play outside today until I got home from work and it was still too icy.
I asked you (and your brother, because I realized we have never really had this conversation) what you would do if you were home and the house caught on fire. You said "call the fire department?" You knew that meant to call 911. Then when I asked if you knew what to do if you ever caught on fire, you replied "blow it out?" Then when I asked what you would do if a stranger tried to break into the house, "ugh, do we have to do this right now?" I love that you came to me tonight with a wrinkled sheet of paper and a very proud smile on your face, "I forgot to show you this." It was a test from school that you had scored an "AP" on. You have been doing so well in school these past few months. We are so proud of you, and you are so proud of yourself. I love that your front teeth are all growing in at different lengths right now. You have the cutest grin. And the best dimples. I love that you played with your sister tonight. And by playing with her, you would literally "beam her" with a small rubber ball. I would yell at you to go easy, "she's only 3 and she's a girl". But she would laugh hysterically every time. I love that you came downstairs tonight dressed in basketball shorts, baseball socks, a dri-fit shirt and your coat to go outside in the garage and play pool with Daddy and Bryan. You are so much like your Daddy. (That's a good thing.) I told you I liked your shirt and you said "Honey got it for me. For Valentines Day." I love that you fell asleep on the couch shortly after with your coat still on. I took it off and covered you up. You never woke up. You are such a heavy sleeper. "Last night I go to tennis, and I did really good job."
Today was your first trip to the dentist. And you did great. I was pleasantly surprised that you did as well as you did. You were a little nervous that morning in the shower. "I don't wanna go to tennis." I had to explain to you what he was going to do, that he was going to count your teeth, and then brush your teeth. "It's not gonna hurt." Bella, "What about her? She gonna give me boo boos?" You're referring to the nurse that comes in with the shots after the doctor. "No boo boos, Bella. I promise." Getting back into the "swing" of things with baseball. First Cannons practice since the Fall. It was a beautiful day. The boys got some pitching practice in as well.
Time for a 10 on 10. 10 of my favorite pictures from the past month posted on the tenth of every month.
We are back into full sports mode. Bella has also started dance and loves to go to "class" every Fright night. After which, we head to basketball practice. Jackson really loves basketball and has really improved. Cameron's team, the Heat, are undefeated so far having won their first 5 games. Bella loves hanging out with all the siblings, especially Ella and Sean. Gabe even made an appearance with his famous flip signs. Cameron had his friend, Kyle, over for a sleepover, and the boys had a blast on the trampoline. Bella was so happy to get to hang with them. Superbowl was a sad day for Jackson and I. The Seahawks lost at the very end. We had a great time with at the Nobles' with our baseball friends and families. Cameron had his first baseball practice for Cannons this past weekend. It was beautiful out, so I tagged along so Bella could play at the park and so I could get a few pictures. Cameron looked great and even got some pitching practice in. Gonna be a fun spring! |

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
