Finally, summer is officially here. In full force. It's been in the 90's nearly 2 weeks straight. And we've been out in the heat. This month has flown by. This is the busiest I think we've ever been. Nonstop. Every night, every weekend. Packed full of activities. The laundry literally piled high on the floor in my den. My house is a disaster. School is officially out, which takes a huge load off of us all.
We started the month off with the KPB baseball playoffs. Cameron's Yankees made it to the playoff game and won! The very next week, All Stars began with nightly practices every night in preparation for the first tournament to start the very next week. Josh injured his back and spent a weekend in bed. He missed the Yankees end of season party and nearly missed Bella's very first dance recital. She looked so beautiful and had such a huge crowd there to support her. She did so well. She couldn't have been cuter. She loved getting ready and letting me put makeup on her. We had a baseball filled week last week with night after night of All Stars games. Jackson started basketball at the field house, which he is loving. So throw a practice during the week and an early Sunday morning game into the mix. When he's home, he spends most of his time in the driveway playing basketball. And he takes a basketball with him everywhere he goes. We celebrated multiple birthdays this month, including Uncle Eric, Granddaddy and Josh, along with Father's Day for an annual party at the in-laws. I miss the beach but the boys are spending a lot of time in the pool. Bella is getting braver and will actually get into the pool by herself and hang onto the ladder. She won't let anyone come near her or hold her in the water. We will have another baseball packed All Stars weekend coming up. And next week, July is upon us.

{25/52}: We went 5-0 this week. We mercy ruled the first 4 games. The championship game, we started off a little rocky. But then we got our bats going and the defense stepped it up. We won 15-10. Next stop, SCAA.
{23/52: She was trying to get him to take a picture with her. He accidentally stepped on her toes with her cleats. She cried. And then it was all better when he finally posed with her for a picture.
My top ten favorites from the past month. On the tenth of each month.
Camping, car washes, and of course more baseball. |

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
