"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." – Fred Rogers

A lot of baseball. We played back to back Sundays and won 7 out of 7 games. And took home the championship trophy in the Holland VA tourney. Pretty cool stuff. These boys are amazing to watch. The weekend after we lost Coach Sam, we played at Great Neck. The 2 opposing teams wore Samstrong shirts during the game. It was very touching, and we were all very moved by their support for the Jennings' family. Cameron had a fantastic catch and threw the ball, from his knees, across the field to first base for an out. It was so sweet, his teammates all came over to congratulate him. We left this past Sunday as winners, happy and exhausted.

Keeps my heart and her hair a mess She goes where the wind suggests she goes, who knows Got a spirit that can't be tamed She's a calico pony on an open plain I know I'll never be the same no more, for sure She's a wild child Got a rebel soul with a whole lot of gypsy wild style She can't be tied down but for a while I'll be falling free and so in love Might break my heart but God she drives me wild child She'll be here until she runs Some just have to chase the sun She's a wild child Got a rebel soul with a whole lot of gypsy wild style She can't be tied down but for a while I'll be falling free and so in love Might break my heart but God she drives me wild child A kaleidoscope of colors in her mind child A touch of crazy hides behind her wild smile So simple yet experimental Innocent but still a little wild child ....Kenny Chesney "Wild Child" once a month. each kid. unplugged. The Cannons (and family) got to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Some, for the first time. Fun was had by all, no doubt. Shortly after this shot, she fell and broke her arm. Playing on these round steps. Cooking is fun; until your little sister cracks an egg on your hand.

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
